These players should be targeted heading into Week 4 , there were many possible names but these guys have the most potential to breakout again and help fill in any possible injury holes you may have!
1) MIA RB Myles Gaskin (45.9% Owned): Gaskin had an impressive night on TNF compared to his backfield teammates racking up 22 carries for 66 yards while Jordan Howard and Matt Breida combined for only 6 total carries. Though Gaskin has not found his way into the endzone yet this season, the workload is there making him a top wavier target this week up against a Seahawks defense that could have him heavily involved in the passing game.
2) SEA RB Carlos Hyde (8.8% Owned): If Chris Carson has to miss any time due to the dirty hit caused by the Cowboys defender on Sunday afternoon, Hyde is a great plug in replacement and the next man up in this highly potent offense. He will be facing a weak Dolphins run defense that ranks 23rd to opposing running backs and allowed James Robinson to have the game of his career last Thursday night.
3) MIN WR Justin Jefferson (33.8% Owned): Jefferson finally showed off why he should have been drafted in the first round of the 2020 draft with a 8 catch, 175 yard, and 1 touchdown performance Sunday against the Titans. Though it resulted in a loss, this should be evidence of what's to come for Jefferson as he should be a lock as the Vikings WR2.
4) SF RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (13.7% Owned): Wilson Jr. seems to be the only healthy running back option left in San Francisco after McKinnon dealt with a rib injury late in the 4th quarter against the Giants. The 3rd year running back out of North Texas took full advantage of the workload with 12 carries for 15 yards and a touchdown along with 3 catches for 54 yards and another touchdown. With Mostert still dealing with an injury, Coleman on IR, and McKinnon's new rib issue, Jeff Wilson Jr. could play a huge role on this depleted 49ers offense.
5) GB WR Allen Lazard (36.3% Owned): Lazard had a Davante Adams type stat line with Adams out of the lineup on SNF with 6 catches for 146 yards and 1 touchdown. Adams does expect to be returning this week for their MNF matchup against the Falcons so he may not be the safest to play even after a great performance. What you can take out of it though is his skill is progressing and if he can put up somewhat similar numbers with Adams sharing the field, he can be a solid FLEX/WR3 option. He seems to have asserted himself as the #2 option there, ahead of Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
6) PHI WR Greg Ward (0.3% Owned): Another week, another set of injuries the Philadelphia Eagles are facing. WR Jalen Reagor was absent Week 3 due to a thumb injury that occurred during their game against the Bengals. TE Dallas Goedert and speedy WR Desean Jackson left the game early with their own injuries. Wentz is now left with Greg Ward as his second option behind Ertz. Ward seemed like a reliable option for Wentz last season down the stretch. Until we find out the severity of Jackson's injury and when Alshon Jeffery is going to return, Greg Ward is a solid stash and could be a flex consideration if either or both continue to miss time.
